The Bangui Windmills, part of the Bangui Wind Farm in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, are rows of giant wind turbines standing along the shoreline of Bangui Bay. Driven by the strong winds in the area, the turbines generate electricity, and their striking line along the coast has made them one of the most recognisable landmarks in Ilocos Norte.
Travellers touring Ilocos often stop in Bangui to see the turbines up close and take photos with the sea behind them. The photos in this post are from our 2013 trip to Bangui, Ilocos Norte, to see the windmills.

Another heritage stop in the Ilocos region is the famous old street in Vigan City, which you can see in our post on Calle Crisologo Vigan City.
