The San Agustin Parish Church, also known as the Lubao Church, is a 17th-century Neo-classic structure made from Spanish stone and brick. It stands as a testament to Pampanga’s rich history and is located in Barangay San Nicolas 1st, Lubao. Originally founded in 1572 by Augustinian friars, the church was initially situated in Barrio Santa Catalina. However, it was relocated to its current location in 1597 to avoid frequent floods. Using locally-sourced materials and a unique binding agent of egg albumen, construction was completed in 1630.
