Shrimp Avenue serves Cajun-style seafood the messy, hands-on way: seafood in a bag, boiled and seasoned, poured out and eaten with your hands. On this visit the table filled up fast — a bag of mixed seafood, T-bone steak with marinara pasta, seafood chowder, buffalo wings, and classic fried chicken with the house special sauce. Cajun seafood-boil restaurants spread quickly across the Philippines in the 2010s, and Shrimp Avenue was part of that wave, pairing Louisiana-style boils with familiar Filipino favourites. These photos are from that meal, dish by dish.
