The Sinulog is Cebu’s grand festival in honour of the Santo Niño, the Holy Child Jesus, celebrated every January with street dancing, processions and colourful costumes. At its heart is the sinulog dance, whose steps mimic the movement of water, offered in prayer and thanksgiving.

Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan is the Sinulog competition for young contingents from the towns of Cebu province, a stage for school and youth groups to present their own Sinulog choreography. The photographs in this post are from Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan in 2018 in Cebu.
