Tarlac Recreational Park is a public sports and recreation park in San Jose, Tarlac City – open grounds where local families, athletes and visitors come for exercise, games and time outdoors. The area is now associated with the Jose V. Yap Sports and Recreational Complex, and it remains one of Tarlac’s best-known venues for sports and community gatherings.
The photographs in this post are from a visit in April 2010. They show the park as visitors found it that year: wide open spaces in the Tarlac sun, photographed during travels through Central Luzon – a reminder that even a city sports park can be a destination in its own right.
