Narvacan is a coastal town in Ilocos Sur, fronting the West Philippine Sea. Along its shoreline, coral formations can be seen just off the beach, making this stretch of coast a quiet stop for travellers exploring the Ilocos region.

The photographs in this post, of the corals and the seashore at Narvacan, are from a trip to Ilocos Sur in 2010.

Narvacan sits along the Ilocos Sur coast between Vigan and the La Union border, and its shoreline barangays are working fishing villages first and beach stops second. The Coral View stretch shows that side of the town — boats pulled up on the sand, nets out to dry, and the open sea beyond.

Further up the Ilocos coast, see the Bangui Windmills in Ilocos Norte.
