Giant Lantern Festival 2014 Winners

The Giant Lantern Festival (Ligligan Parul) 2014 lit up the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, in December 2014, continuing the Christmas tradition that made the city the Christmas Capital of the Philippines. Barangay lantern makers competed with giant parul about 20 feet across, each animated by thousands of bulbs sequenced through hand-turned rotors, creating kaleidoscopic patterns of light moving to music. After the competition night at Robinsons Starmills, the judges’ verdict named the winning barangays of the 2014 edition. This post announced the winners of the Giant Lantern Festival 2014.
