The Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival is a hot air balloon festival held at Pradera Verde in Lubao, Pampanga. It combines early morning balloon flights with live music and other attractions, drawing families and photography enthusiasts who watch the colorful balloons rise over the Pampanga countryside.
Balloon festivals are a beloved tradition in this part of Central Luzon, and Lubao’s edition gives Kapampangans their own version of the spectacle close to home. The photos in this post are from the 2017 edition of the festival, taken during that year’s trip to Pradera Verde in Lubao.
