Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2016

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is the country’s longest-running hot air balloon event, held in Clark in Pampanga. For a weekend, balloons in bright colors and special shapes lift off at dawn, alongside aviation shows and other flying attractions for the whole family.

The fiesta is a favorite outing for families and photographers, who arrive early to catch the balloons against the morning sky. The photos in this post are from the 2016 edition, the 20th fiesta, taken during that year’s trip to Clark.
