St. James The Apostle Church, better known as Betis Church, is a historic Roman Catholic church in the district of Betis in Guagua, Pampanga. It is admired for its richly decorated interior, especially its painted ceilings and religious artwork, which have earned it a reputation as one of the most beautiful heritage churches in the province.
The church is a favorite stop for pilgrims, heritage tours, and Visita Iglesia devotees in Pampanga, and it is treasured for its art and architecture. The photos in this post are from our 2017 visit to Betis Church, taken during that year’s trip to Guagua.
