Street dancing is the heart of Bacolod City’s MassKara Festival, and its school category gives students their own stage to compete in the festival of smiles. Schools from across Bacolod perform choreographed routines in glittering smiling-mask costumes, dancing to the MassKara beat before thousands of spectators along the city’s main streets. The school category has launched many young dancers into the festival’s main arena-and-street competitions.
