Two years after our first visit, we returned to Potipot Island off Candelaria, Zambales — this is version 2.0 of the trip. The island had lost none of its appeal: the same short boat ride from Barangay Uacon, the same ring of white sand and clear, shallow water, and still no large-scale development on the island itself.
The photographs in this set are from April 2012. If anything, the second visit confirmed the first impression: Potipot rewards travelers who come early, pack light, and leave the island as clean as they found it.
