Panagbenga, the Baguio Flower Festival, is the most famous festival of Baguio City, held every February in the City of Pines. The festival, whose name is a Kankanaey term for a season of blooming, celebrates Baguio’s flowers with colorful street dancing and grand floral float parades.
The celebration fills the city with color as floats covered in fresh flowers and dancers in floral-inspired costumes draw visitors from all over the country. The photos in this post are from the 2015 celebration in Baguio City, taken during that year’s Panagbenga Festival trip.
