Higantes Festival 2018

Every November, Angono, Rizal parades its higantes — giant papier-mâché figures hoisted through the streets for the feast of San Clemente, the town’s patron saint. The Higantes Festival 2018 edition filled the streets of the Art Capital of the Philippines with the towering effigies, brass bands and devotees. These photos are from that celebration in Angono.
