Potipot Island is a small white-sand island just off Uacon in Candelaria, Zambales, reached by a boat ride of about five minutes from the mainland. The island is small enough to walk around in roughly twenty minutes, circling clear, shallow water, fine light-coloured sand, and a famous old balete tree that shades its middle. There are no resorts or big developments on Potipot — visitors come for day trips and simple camping, bringing their own food and supplies and taking their rubbish home. It is often combined with the Zambales island circuit of Capones and Camara off Pundaquit. These photos are from our visits to Potipot Island.
